I work with individuals who are navigating mental health challenges, particularly those struggling with OCD, anxiety, and related disorders. I am also very passionate about supporting families of first responders as a daughter of a recently retired police officer. Simply put, life looks different for families of first responders and as someone who lives this life everyday, I want to support the families who have a loved one who has their life on the line everyday. The impacts on families are profound and needs to be addressed. By drawing from my own experiences and the therapeutic tools I’ve acquired, I aim to provide compassionate support and effective coping strategies. My goal is to help clients gain insight, develop resilience, and find hope, offering the same type of understanding and guidance that were instrumental in my own path to wellness. My journey with therapy was transformative, revealing how essential it is to have compassionate guidance. This inspired me to help others find clarity and support, particularly teenagers and young adults facing mental health issues. With a judgment-free attitude, calm demeanor, and a deep empathy born from my own experiences, I strive to offer the same support that was pivotal in my own healing process.

I provide individual counselling and group therapy. I believe strongly in openness, compassion, and safe environments for clients to share their personal struggles, whether that is anxiety, depression, trauma, or so many other possible issues. Over the past 15 years, I have worked with neurodivergent individuals (Autism, AuDHD, and ADHD). I’ve also gained a broad understanding of the field while working with first responders and the military. It is important to consider what makes each client unique and work with them based on their needs.

I have a passion for assisting individuals with complex lives. The complexity of our professional and personal lives impacts so many factors of an entire lifestyle and circumstances. So, I continually build my knowledge on ways to assist clients in creating a smoother, more balanced lifestyle.

I deeply appreciate the opportunity to support people in learning about themselves, their strengths and ways to self-advocate in order to be able to meet their needs and goals. Working in special education has given me strategies and abilities to work with individuals addressing anxiety, school and peer-related issues, self-esteem, and executive functioning challenges. In my work and personal life, I continue to learn about neurodivergence including ADHD, ASD and LD, in addition to Oppositional Defiant Disorder. I am passionate about developing a safe environment that is built on trust, empathy, and understanding for children, teens and families to address their unique challenges and concerns.
